Having just moved to Dorset, my wife and I were referred to The Wimborne Road Dental Practice under the recommendation of James Aquilina, the root-canal specialist that my wife had been sent to. From the outset, you and everyone at your practice was helpful and attentive and one felt cared for – this was particularly important as my treatment was going to be for new crown teeth. I had been thinking of having crown work for some years but the experience at our previous dental practice had not given me sufficient confidence to proceed at that time.

In your surgery, the treatment options were clearly explained and discussed, and a plan of treatment was formulated and agreed comprising:

Ph 1. Pre-treatment remedial work to achieve a medical fitness of all teeth.
Ph 2. Six front teeth crowns (including one bridge) including preparation, teeth models, moulds, temporary crowns and final porcelain crowns.
Ph 3. Four right top side teeth bridge, including prep-work and temporaries.
Ph 4. Four right bottom side teeth bridge, including prep-work and temporaries.

The overall programme of treatment spanned over some six months and throughout the process I felt very comfortable. I was constantly put at ease and, together with the dental professionalism displayed, I had full confidence in all that was happening to me as well as being pain-free due to the experience and care provided me.

The end result was fantastic.

Well as you know I am not the sort who likes dentist's in any way, its not a personal thing just the mere thought of it makes me cringe and run a mile in the other way.

I have to say that I am very grateful for your understanding and help over the past visits in making me feel more relaxed and at ease. I would have no hesitation in recommending you or any of the staff at the practice to anyone who has a fear of dentists or the treatment carried out (it's worth it just for the shot of sedation).

I have always been worried about dentists and put off going and lived with the pain, sure the state of my teeth made that a little bit obvious, however all the staff there made me feel relaxed and less concerned, you know what it is like some dentists make you feel like such a bad person because you haven't maintained the lovely teeth that god blessed you with, forgeting the fact that you are actually scared out of your tiny mind.

Twelve months ago I decided to have my two front crowns replaced, they looked awful,
